Caramel Apple Pork Chops. Recipe...

My favorite time of year is fall. I just love everything about it. When i think of fall i think of crisp juicy apples, lots of family time, bonfires, and good comfort food. Well even though its not fall, in fact its not even summer yet but all this hot weather has me wishing for those chilling fall nights. This is one of my familys favorites.

Caramel apple pork chops have got to be the tastiest dang way to ever have pork chops. They are so tender you can cut them with a fork and the kids will devour them.

What your gonna need:
boneless center cut pork chops
a touch of oil
a pinch of flour
some cinnamon
brown sugar
and apples of course.

Start off by heating a little oil in the pan and coat the chops in flour.
Sear the chops until golden brown on each side so they get that crisp layer.
Next plop about 4 Tbl of butter into the pan
Add in 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, and about 4Tbl brown sugar.
Get that all mixed up and nice and gooey then add in 2-3 sliced apples. (peeled & cored)
Let that cook on a low simmer (covered) until the apples are tender. Just keep an eye out on the liquid levels.

There you have it my amazing caramel apple porkchops that are to die for.

I have also made this without the apples and just served some cinnamon apple sauce and rice on the side. Either way its the sauce that makes this phenomenal. Enjoy :)
