NYC Cheek Glow

NYC has always been known for their incredibly affordable products so when I came across the new cheek glows I had to pick a few of them up. I got "Sutton Place", "Park Ave Plum", & "Outside Cafe". What drew me to them was they are matte and are perfect winter colors for that light rosy cheek look.

I think most people expected them to be pigmented true blushes but they are not. They give your cheeks a subtle hint of color. You can see them on my very pale skin below. I think they could be a little more pigmented but given the name says they are a "glow" I think they are pretty decent the way they are.

The only color I was disappointed with was the Outside Cafe, It is shimmery and there is no color pay off to this one. Having said that its perfect as a highlight.

The NYC Cheek Glows cost less than $3 and right now you can even find them at your local Dollar Trees for you guessed it a dollar. At that price I would totally give them a shot just don't expect to much. I would be cautious though if you have a darker complexion as you may not get any color pay off not even a glow so maybe start with a plum or wine based shade.
