Bow-Bellished Shirt {DIY}

I love shopping and heading to the mall to look at new trends and I always come across things that I not only love but know I can make for much less so I started with this simple shirt.
I have seen these shirts sell for up around $20-$40 and really that is just insane. I made this shirt for $1.00 and you can to. Lets get started.

You might remember a recon shirt I did a while ago with a old tshirt if not you can find it here. Anyway I saved the sleeves cause I knew they would come in handy one day. Well that day was today.

1. I made a bow pattern in two sizes a medium and small but you can make them any size you want. Just fold a piece of paper in half and trace a half bow then cut out and you have these.

2. Now you need to trace them on to your sleeve as many as you want. You will need 2 for each "flower".

3. Once you have them all cut out time to sew them. It would be so easy to use a sewing machine but for this DIY I wanted to hand sew them to show you anyone can do it. I suck at hand sewing. Hard to believe I know.

4. Once they are all sewn up and ready to place grab your self a tank top and start playing with placement. I picked up this awesome tank for $1 at the goodwill.

5. Ok got them in place but know I want to make sure they look right on so put the shirt on just be sure to not poke yourself with pins.

6. Looks good time to sew it all together. Again could whip it trough a machine but hand sewing is great to. It's not hard I promise any one can do it. Its basically just random knots.

I added little beads to mine cause I have a million beads but you could skip if you don't have any.
I'm loving the final project & would love to hear your thoughts on this and if you try and make one feel free to share or link back to me. Thanks
